The history of chalsattack
chalsattack 2006
chalsattack was published for the first time in 2006. And it has gone through a series of major changes and improvements ever since.
This was the first edition, the design was very simple and at that time I only had my personal logo. I didn't have the site logo which is the penguin and the igloo.
One curiosity is that the hit counter didn't work properly. It always displayed the computer clock date. That's why it shows the day I took the screenshot when I was building this new site.
It also had an Apache 2.0 logo because the site had two versions, one in Spanish hosted by me on my own web server and one in English which was on a professional hosting service.

chalsattack 2007
This was the second release of the site. This time the design was a bit more ambitious. It already had the site logo on the front page.
At the time the site was chalsattack.tk because I had bought the domain there.
This edition was only written in English and the hit counter disappeared for some reason that I can't recall now. I think it was because the site was hosted in two different locations at the same time.
chalsattack 2008-2009
This picture belongs to the third and fourth versions of chalsattack.There were several differences between the two editions but they were minor changes.
An important change was that I left the .tk domain for .com because I had problems with their DNS service.
In these sites there was a blog, my first serious attempt at blogging.
The first editions were built using Mozilla composer. The 2008 edition was composed with nvu and when the project moved to kompozer so did I. The 2009 edition was entirely done with kompozer.

chalsattack 2010
And this is the latest edition of my site!!! Yes, I know it seems a bit silly to include a screenshot of the actual site. But it's the fifth anniversary of chalsattack and I wanted to keep a record for the future. As you can see I have recently changed the header and use my site logo.
All I have left to say is that I hope you like this new design and the new direction I've taken.
